This insecticide contains the active ingredient spinosad which is derived from a naturally occurring bacterium, Saccharopolyspora spinosa. Ants are attracted by the bait and carry it to their nest where it is fed to other worker ants, larvae and the queen. The colony is controlled within 1 to 2 weeks. Kills ants, including carpenter ants. USE SITES: OUTDOOR AREAS: Ornamental landscaped areas (such as in residential areas and parks), turf (such as lawns, athletic fields, recreational areas, golf courses, commercial turf, sod, grass buffers, parks, playgrounds, cemeteries, picnic areas and campgrounds), crop areas (food and feed), gardens and fallow lands. RESIDENTIAL, INSTITUTIONAL, COMMERCIAL, AND INDUSTRIAL AREAS: Use in and around single and multi- family residential buildings, institutional, commercial and industrial facilities (such as schools, hospitals, warehouses, apartments, supermarkets, restaurants, kitchens, motels, hotels, processing facilities/plants, barns, livestock dwellings, and railyards), on or around decks, patios, balconies, paths, electrical conduits, vents, pipe chases, concrete slabs, crawlspaces, skylights on roofs, garbage cans, around and behind appliances, along walls, window sills, sidewalks, and driveways; on ground around home or structure, and other areas ants are found.
